In Hindu mythology, "Shantanu" was a prominent figure and a revered king in ancient times. He was known for his wisdom, nobility, and just rule. One of the most well-known stories featuring King Shantanu is from the epic Mahabharata. In this tale, Shantanu falls in love with the beautiful goddess Ganga, who becomes his wife.

The Shantanu kurta is a long tunic-style shirt, it features a normal neck, which is a simple and classic neckline. The full sleeves extend down to the wrists, adding a traditional touch to the outfit. The kurta is designed to be comfortable and versatile, suitable for various occasions.

The front side of the kurta and the sleeves are adorned with machine-embroidered golden color polka dot motifs. These motifs are delicate and intricate patterns created with golden threads, resembling the shimmer and brilliance of the pattern. The embroidery adds a touch of regality and elegance to the kurta, making it ideal for special events and celebrations.

Along with the kurta, a golden border cotton dhoti is provided as part of the ensemble. The dhoti is a traditional bottom wear worn by men in various parts of India. The cotton fabric makes it comfortable to wear, and the golden border adds a subtle yet elegant accent to the overall look when paired with the kurta allowing the wearer to embrace a sense of cultural pride and elegance.
